I currently shoot mostly high-production Motorsports Photography, which often requires thousands of images each weekend for car, bike and kart groups & clubs, so there's little time for focusing on leisure photography in search of that one dynamic snapshot. Like most photographers, I enjoy the rare opportunity to explore various other subjects like different sunsets, people, creatures or that artsy image we invision in our minds on occasion....that rustic, leaning barn embedded in the changing autumn colors. But don't get me wrong, there's nothing boring about capturing speeding cars or motorcycles, sometimes in intense action....or counter-action.
I currently shoot with a Canon EOS Rebel T3i and mostly with my Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM Lens and wore the 1st camera out in about 2 years. I shoot some High Resolution and Slo Mo video with a Panasonic FZ200 (Constant f2.8) and currently working on getting the FZ1000, which will shoot 120 fps at 1080p. Not much sense in investing in a Mark III when it's going to wear out in two years anyway, and I love the Rebel.
